How big of an expansion joint do you recommend or does it differ by product?

The previous owner of my home installed vinyl throughout the entire house except the bathrooms and they either didn't take off the baseboards or left a large expansion joint because they used quarter round everywhere.

Not a fan.

I want to make sure that I'm avoiding quarter round when I do the bathrooms.

Edit: 1/4 to 3/16th expansion joint from your video. I guess I'm asking if that's universal. I'm using Nucore
