When you want the NPC's armor

Some people will do anything for a new set of armor

Was waitiing for the dad to go: "As soon as my son is back I can give you his armor as a reward, since the life of an adventurer is clearly not for him"

I was expecting at the end the father would say: "that looks exactly like the armor i am about to give you as the reward for rescuing my son"

The reward from the father should have been an identical set of armor from the master leather worker he personally knows, haha!

Us - "Uh oh."

Gotta say, the facial expressions, tone of voice & ominous background music REALLY set the tone well.
(Though the making it the Old Man's birthday was just cruel! lol)

Plot twist - the father didn't give him any reward, because he was supposed to give him the sword and armor, since his son decided to stop adventuring.

When you purposely kill an NPC for their armor but all you get is an empty inventory.

This is where we find out in a later episode the Dad is actually a legendary adventure and warrior from his old days. And when he finds out you killed his son, he ends up constantly hunting you down and killing you preventing you from ever being able to progress in the game again lmfao

Ben then finds out that the armor set is immediately outranked by a different set in a random chest while dungeon crawling.

I like how they use the same people for certain kinds of characters. They're like, "The main character is going to be an asshole, so let Ben know we'll need him on this date." Or like if Hamish walks into PlayTech you know he's about to get totally screwed over.

I was expecting Ben to pickpocket the armour Skyrim-style, leaving the son naked. He would then have freed him and took him back to his father, who would thank and reward him, with both of them being oblivious to him being naked 😅

Hoping for a part 2 now. My suggestion: Ben meeting another player with the same armor, but a glowing upgraded version. Ben asks about how he got his armor. The player explains the quest and how he received it at the birthday party along with a lot of gold. While talking to this player flashbacks happen about a dialogue after saving the NPC. "I think it's time to reti..." SKIP "At my dad's birthd..." SKIP "But before I will..." SKIP "The leatherworker shall..." SKIP "It will be better then ev..." SKIP "Hope you can wai..." SKIP "See you there." STAB!!!

Every time I see a new episode of this series, the more I want an actual game based on it. There are so few games on the market where you can do things like this. Quests always have flags that require the rescued NPC to be brought back, or the NPC is tagged as friendly and can't be harmed, so it's impossible to have "fun" like this.
