Every 60 seconds, 6 months pass in game when players skip time.

Together, we can change this. Like and share the video to show support.

imagine how the NPCs would freak out when the guy who's been mining for 12 years just starts buying up land and growing crops

He is over a hundred years old. He began as a miner...

Now he is the greatest Smith, Enchanter, and Farmer the world knows. But for some reason he only ever eats cheese wheels. In their entirety.

His motivations are above human understanding

Imagine the fear as the man who has been repeat grinding the same dungeon for loot suddenly walks into town and stands perfectly still for one month then goes to buy a rare item that was only just made and he would have no way of knowing about

Now imagine the NPC's reaction whenever the player skips time.
"Why is he just standing there?"
"Oh, he does that now and then. Just give him a month or two, he'll continue mining afterwards"

This reminds me of the anime Log Horizon, an isekai type of show where everyone playing a certain MMORPG ends up inside it as their characters. Turns out the NPCs are all real individuals with their own lives, and they're actually puzzled that the adventurers suddenly start behaving like normal people. From their perspective, the player characters were always these aloof immortal beings who spent all their time going around killing monsters and completing quests while barely acknowledging the rest of society.

imagine living in a town where, relatively high up in the mines, there is an adventurer. He stands, alone, in a part of the cave with an especially high amount of ore. Every day, he mines them. And, every day, after mining them, he stands. and waits. Until the next day. Where he does it again.

He never eats. He never sleeps. He never buys or sells. He just _mines_

as somebody who very much loves the THRILL of doing the same mundane task for hours to max a level.... I am delighted to think that I am becoming a local legend in these game worlds.
Kinda makes you wish there was a game that actually like... had this kind of thing programmed in... NPCs actually taking note of how long you've been around... game mechanics always being there to remind you of the number of days passing, and the importance of as the player slowly begins to realize they've been playing an Immortal character the entire time.

This needs to become a running series, where the player slowly but surely mines up everything, buys up all the land, farms for years, and then fights wolves and spiders until he is a living legend.

Okay so for those who wondering what's the takes here,

In Skyrim there's a spell book that let's you transmute iron ore to silver ore, and from silver ore to gold ore. Gold ring is a good smith level grinding and you can sell it for speech grinding too.

The problem is that to farm the iron vein, it gonna take some (ingame time) to reset, not to mention transmuting cost kinda lot of mana so usually people just press the wait button if they ran out of mana. Lastly, you can't just sell all your stuff to a shop at once. They have limited gold capacity that resets every once awhile so yeah, these grinding do takes a lot of time.

Still better to do iron dagger or dwhemer grinding I guess, faster but it is longer.

The villagers in the beginning acting like innocent non sentient npcs and then saying "no cap?" caught me so off guard

12 years of grinding? Sounds like war thunder.

I enjoy how the npcs have basically make urban legends about the mysterious miner and the horrible secrets he might be crafting with that ungodly amount of iron.

Ngl the NPCs reaction is kind of wholesome. Sounds like they got a hell of a lot of respect for the mans dedication to his craft.

Imagine you're a villager of that place, that skeleton mining an iron ore vein until there is no more, you'd think the skeleton would leave, now that theres no iron to mine, but for 30 days, you see that skeleton every single time, just standing there, until on the next month, hes mining again, repeating, for every single month, you would start to question your existence...
