This is one of my many unsolved childhood mysteries. Could someone explain what in the world is going on?!

When the calculator typed in 1337 he was happy because that number is associated with angels but when they but /0 1337/0 is a gaming glitch number that only pros know how to do so then the look on his face changed and the world started glitching

The following lemma:

I find this very disturbing since if I want to show that some fraction is non-zero I have to show that the numerator is non-zero AND the denominator is non-zero, which might make sense but confuses two different problems into one.
Is there a way of separating the well-definition of a fraction and its non-zeroness?
