Wise School community endures second tragedy in one week

The community of Wise High School in Prince George's County, Maryland is enduring its second tragedy in just a week after a deadly crash Tuesday morning.

Why is a huge landscaping trailer parked on a 2 lane highway? It's taking up an entire lane. I have come over a crest in the road to have one of these blocking 3/4 of my lane, and had to slam on the brakes and almost got rearended!

Speeding was most definitely the factor, looks like he would have veered to the right if that worker were not standing there. You can see a slight glitch of the car sway to the right in the video. Could have been a different outcome all together. My sincere condolences to all involved.

Perfect storm for the driver -- obviously speeding in the fast lane behind the blue car, tried to pass the blue car on the right, into an unseen obstacle -- because he was originally behind the blue car in the fast/passing lane and the obstacle was hidden from the driver until he saw it.

These kids need to stop speeding. This isn’t the first fatal crash near Wise HS
