Visually, one difference is that the power connector for the TRENDnet is the same side as the ports, while it is on the opposite side for the TPLINK
This actually makes a difference, if say i want to wall mount the switch or have it at the edge of a table with the ports facing the edge, the TRENDnet will look nicer with everything hanging out the edge or on one side (if on wall)
The TPLINK would be better if the switch is on a table or rack, with the LAN cables on one side and the the power outlet to power it on the other
