Honestly...to me, this was better than Netflix. All the twists and turns. The drama. The bromance. The climatic last mile...I'm not even a mechanic and that was amazing. I even watch a bit with my wife.

Looks like a 53A machine. D333 engine, 2 sp powershift. Very slow operating but in its day there wasn't anything else. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. 45yrs working on and for Cat.

As a Brit who moved the North America, I actually cannot stress enough how much I miss Manual cars. They are hard to find, but I treasure all I can find.

I am absolutely stunned to see that beast running and moving under its own power. It makes me wonder how many heavy machines have gone to an early grave because people just don't know how to fix things anymore? 🤔

Rebuilt a old 977 trac loader back in the early 90's. It's still in use today. Love those older Cat's. Great job.

That smile on Chris' face, looking up at the exhaust smoking for the first time...PRICELESS ...Like a little child !!!
Man, he deserves every cent he gets from anywhere...for such hard work AND his know-how !!!
Jen is such a lucky girl !!
Lovely to see the little "Dynamo" when he was a little puppy too ❤

It’s amazing how long this old machines can set and yet come back to life.

Always amazed at the ability of mechanics to get these old beasts running. Respect the work ethic to produce these videos…

Dude your approach to walking up to anything with an engine is impressive. I would have walked away from engines that only needed new spark plugs; however, you pull off the unthinkable. That is so inspiring to us. I think if there were more of you out there. Noone would go out and buy new cars or trucks, because we would just have you fix them up at a cheaper cost. Thanks for what you do. Keep

I was so happy to see her fire up, can’t imagine how excited it made you feel. Might have been your best Will It Start video

It always puts a smile on my face to see a big ole forgotten cat fire up with a little effort. Definitely a machine built to last the rest of time.

I absolutely love watching these will it run videos. It always amazes me how durable these old cats are. When you drained the oil pan I thought there was no way this thing would even turn over. Well done man.

I served my time at a CAT shop in England, 75 to 79.This was an oldie even then.Fast forward to Australia in the 2020s, I see machines this age and plenty more still at work on remote stations clearing dams and fencelines.Only used now and again but worth holding onto.Yes, parts still available.

That Loader is amazing man. It goes like a new one that sat ..& sat... & that it started so readily . It fired before the ether and the steering clutch/brake on the one side works "like new". This was the most progressive and entertaining "will it start?" in the history of old machines. ( and cars )

I think my group of friends all watch your videos now. Long drives in construction we love putting your videos on in the van! We appreciate your honest, normal guy approach!!! I could be a complete novice and enjoy every bit of the information!!!!

One of the best Will It Starts I have seen. This video inspired me to get started my Fathers' 1970s International tractor which sat for 12 years and water got in through a corroded exhaust pipe.

I used to run a Cat 955 and 977 for a small excavation company, these machines were great and ran fairly strong all the time. Dead batteries were the only thing that stopped them from working. Use ours for lot clearing, cuttings pads and demo jobs. One of the bast and easiest machines to run, better if it has a 4 in bucket.

No job too big, I like how you give anything with an engine a chance to live again. Gus is a great addition as well.

I don't even know why I liked this. I don't care about mechanical stuff but I subscribed. Very entertaining.
