CAT Fight! Antique Dozer Takes on Track Loaders

Caught this "fight" at the National Pike show. Two CAT 977L take on each other and then challenge a 1964 CAT D8 dozer driven by @DieselCreek.

An interesting demonstration of mechanized might. The 977, being lighter and equipped with semi-grouser pads, was outmatched against the heavier D8 until the second 977 stepped in. There was also another brief "shoving match" between a D8H and a Dresser(?) TD-20 but I don't know what the outcome was on that one. Thanks for sharing this video, Diana.

Nothing quite like seeing the dozer pick on another dozer that's smaller than it and then turn around and pick on a dozer bigger than it. 😂
