For me the stages I went through were:
1. Thinking he’s cute and just barely noticing him
2. Keep noticing him and slowly becoming obsessed with someone Idk
3. Finally talking to him so start talking to him a bunch
4. Become close friends and he starts talking to you more and more
5. Realized you have real feelings for him and want to date him but thinks he doesn’t like you do you try to act normal but you can’t after realizing your feelings
6. Decided to confess
7.confessed and realized he also has feelings for you
8. Starts dating
9. Breaks up 4 months later just cause we didn’t talk for one day

Yeah. I met a boy 5 years ago who became a man one year ago 😂 we would hang out many times, he knew of my family, I was introduced to his Dad, he came to my country, I went traveling with him to his country, we were like best friends almost lovers but not kissing or holding hands. Soulmates? I used to believe that. But after that travel, it felt like a dream almost like a nightmare shattered. I felt empty and tried to fill that void by cringing, getting angry at myself for allowing that to happen. I realized I love this guy but he would always emphasize I'm his friend. Ok. I'm defeated.
