Magic mushrooms: A magical cure for depression?

Psilocybin ("magic") mushrooms have recently gained popularity in the scientific community after many years of being illegal. This video summarizes the history of this drug as well as the recent research on psilocybin mushrooms for the treatment of depression.

There are negative remarks about psychedelic mushroom and other products that have effects on mental health, I have never had a bad experience with magic mushroom, it has helped me tremendously with my addiction and depression, such organic and natural resources is being made illegal it’s surprising and still baffles me, I get mine delivered to me discreetly and and use it safely

You totally ignored the fact that Maria Sabrina introduced this to Robert Gordon W. She was a Mexican healer and thanks to Robert (he took all things he learned from her and published them in Life Magazine, therefore introducing it to western culture) she died a horrible death :)

I feel like I would benefit sooo much from mushroom healing. I've been in and out of the hospital my entire life due to complications from a rare kidney/liver disease I was born with. I've had 3 seperate kidney transplants and 1 liver transplant and obv with all of that comes depression, severe anxiety. I've read soo many positive stories from people that were able to completely turn their mindset around using mushrooms but I don't have any idea where to start. I live the states (NY) which already puts me at a disadvantage.

I have done Mushrooms in the past. Its been about 15 years. Suffer from depression and anxiety caused from PTSD from the military, child abuse, and my ex wife having an affair and leaving me. I have had so many ups and down and while things have gotten better I am still all over the place often feeling super depressed or hopeless. I want to give this a try. Has anyone done a bigger dose or just do macrodosing for depression? Or start big then take microdoses to maintain?
