Lebanese Stuffed Grape Leaves and Tabbouleh

Lebanese Cuisine is a style of cooking that I've had very little experience with. In this video, you'll get to see my attempt (and ultimate) success when making Lebanese Stuffed Grape Leaves and Tabbouleh.

The Beef Stuffed Grape Leaves shown in today's video are a great example of how an unassuming mixture of spices can come together to create an unexpectedly delicious flavor. For me, whenever I think of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves, I typically am thinking of desserts; however, the Lebanese 7-Spice mix that uses these spices truly is different than the sum of its individual parts. This mixture, combined with the grease from a bit of ground beef created an ultra-savory filling for the grape leaves.

If you've ever made perogies, dumplings, or ravioli, you know just how much time goes into these delicacies. Either the meal is one made with a whole lot of love, or each member in the family helps out in making dinner. In my opinion, grape leaves are in the same vein. With a little bit of effort, you can make a dish or an appetizer that is perfect for a crowd.

This video is a response to the prompt on r/52WeeksOfCooking and I'm super excited to use this community as a means of inspiration for future videos.
