He didn't want to give everyone free energy. Come on people! How can you find funds from investors in order to disrupt their inventions. He told them they can distribute the energy they are selling us -cheapest way possible. Because even though people know that producing energy expensive it is almost and time to time even more expensive to distribute that energy to massive distances and every household. If this would be trough think about this. Why are we paying for water? We do not generate water. We only distribute them from a to be with infrastructure but also this infrastructure is relatively cheaper than electricity.

Tesla knew that we could save tons of money from the materials alone.

Edit: Also, he wasn't really successful with this invention as advertised. He could transmit some electricity but not really a significant amount or distance. I agree developments would make this technology perfect but even today it is not a really the most efficient way of transfer of electricity. For ex. Wireless phone chargers.

He was not the inventor of any of the stuff you listed. He worked for Westinghouse on improvement of thies items. And his tower used energy from the grid. It did not create its own. It famously caused blackouts

He was born in Croatia, not Serbia. His father was an Orthodox priest (considered Serbian), while his mother was Croatian - a little known fact.

Jp Morgan isn't the only money grubbing, slanderer of the great Nikola was also Thomas cost the world life long lasting light bulbs(bulbs that, if you avoid breaking the bulbs, would last a person their entire life! Never burning out and leaving you in the dark!((also, you could illuminate them more view destroying telephone poles everywhere you look, would have saved a shit load of copper, ))

Just one notice: Tesla was born in Croatia, not Serbia. Village of Smiljan, was then(1856) and has allways been a part od Croatia. His father was Christian orthodox priest, and many people think that Croatia does not have orthodox Christians (what is incorrect, we do), so he must have been a Serbian (who are on vast majority orthodox Christians). But, I like your appreciation of this great visionary.

You can legit build your own tesla coil and power your home a guy in montanna did this at his cabin, which uses zero plug in lamps or anything just hangs lightbulbs around his cabin and uses a portable electric stove to cook

Nikola Tesla was a Serb born in Austro-Hungary (today's Croatia). He wasn't born in Serbia, but he was a Serb.
