4 ideas I have collected. Flywheel needs 3 things for give its power, the weigh must be in the outer rim, something like, for example a motorbike wheel and feel the rubber with grout and balance it. Second, a larger diameter more energy and most important the speed, the polley in the motor a bigger diameter then the flywheel one. The last that is not pay attention, the flywheel must energizing with pulses not with constant aplication of movement, one way is lefting the transmition belt something loose, so you can see how it vibrates or you can use a tensor so you can change the pressure over the belt, and other way is using a system that makes the motor give directly the pulses. This needs some time and patience for getting it. It´s as the resonance. You have to find the correct speed and pulse for that specific flywheel - try and failure, try and failure and you have succed. Light life and love for all beings of the universe.

You need to calculate the flywheel weight and which rpm need to over come the load . And also use some more pulley to different speed ratio. The generator must need to produce electricity double the motor take. And also consider stepup transformer also just in case.

The motor and the generator behave in that way, because at a certain point they come to feed themselves in counter phase ... therefore they tend to brake instead of accelerating.
In order not to have this problem, a three-phase rectifier must be used on the generator (if the generator is three-phase), once the DC voltage is obtained, this must be injected into an inverter which converts it back into three-phase/single-phase alternating voltage according to the motor.. .
To avoid the need for a very large steering wheel, super capacitors can be placed on the DC voltage.
You must pay attention, however, that by rectifying the alternating voltage this rises again with the P factor = 1.41x, therefore it is possible to arrive on the DC part even at 400 volts.

Another aspect that no one talks about is the generator which, if a normal one, has significant braking due to LENZ's law ... you have to look for a type of generator which has less braking due to LENZ!

Generator mount is not aligned and has a lot of vibrations. It will coast down immediately. The belt adds friction. It is much better to use a single common shaft for the motor, generator, and fly wheel to eliminate vibration. A much heavier flywheel with a large diamter will help to maintain the speed of the machine during heavy loads.

It is more feasible to do the following: adjust the size of the pulleys, to synchronize the speeds, usually a 15kVA generator generates power at 1700 rpm and needs 18hp of power, then. a 3HP 3400rpm motor with 100 kg flywheel with sets of pulleys and belts dimensioned, lower rpm, higher torque, a 3HP motor consumes 2.4 Kw and a 15KVA generator generates 12Kwh, adjusting the kgf.m and torque between the 2 motor and generator.

Z nadzieją i wiarą że to będzie chodziło ludzie budują generatory wolnej energii, bo prąd będzie za darmo! Po odłączeniu z sieci koło zamachowe nie napędzi prądnicy, ponieważ w czasie generowania prądu do napędu silnika ona będzie obciążona i zacznie stawać.Tak że wiara i nadzieja jest matką niemądrych!

Motor ~3000 obr./ Min.- 30kg- 2000→generator ok 2000 obr/ min. Silnik 1 fazowy ale jak przełączasz na generator to jest przesunięcie fazy i może dlatego się zatrzymuje. 🤔

nice set up i agree with some of the comments on using a larger fly wheel and some sort of gearing, but also you need to build a more efficient driver for your motor as when you have stored enough energy in your fly wheel you need to switch over to the driver that is being powered by the generator, other than that great work B-)

I guess you have to calculate the instantaneous drag energy(power) to get the generator to the required rpm(the specified output power), then calculate a flywheel force that is far greater than that. I always thought that a very large diameter flywheel was easy to turn by hand at the outer rim just slow, why not use a series of high rpm motors at the correct timing at the outer rim to get the flywheel up to speed with a result(gear ratios) of an rpm to match the generator. The flywheel would have the massive torque to overcome the instantaneous drag of the generator. The series of motors(of varying rpm spec) on the rim would be of considerably less power input than the configuration design you have constructed.

Thanks for sharing. Your hard work makes my work easier and saves me the trouble and money. Yes, off the shelf equipment will not work because they are deliberately made to be inefficient. You need to customise both the motor and generator. Motor could be a special, high efficiency type and the generator, a permanent magnet type, using neodymium magnets, 24 pole type. But even if you get them to spin, I doubt you'll be able to take any extra power out of the machine.

change pully ratio, control vibration, and phase angle of feed from alternator, it could not became 100% free but can be produce 70 to 80%, you need some extra accessories like RPM sensor to monitor the alternator RPM for desired Output, if reduces the contactor change over the starter motor to live power instead feed from alternator to help in maintain the required RPM. its all about the RPM, if load is increased on alternator, will cause to reduce the output by slowing down the RPM of alternator.
Its law energy always transform from 1 state to another.
fly wheel will help to keep alternator moving by its momentum force.

Is Suggest Don't Use the AC Motor, Use the DC Motor instead for the Flywheel and Generator Motor.
From the 220V Generator Motor to Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR), then add Transformer AC to DC (With Rectifier).
If you want to use the AC Motor to supply the Flywheel and Generator Motor.
From the 220V Generator Motor to Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) Then add Step-Down Transformer 220V AC to 48V DC (With Rectifier) Then 3KW Inverter (Pure Sine Wave) to supply the 1KW AC Motor.
