JA2 1.13: Antimateriel bullet & 100% pierce

Up until now, anti-materiel bullets always stopped when they applied damage to a structure, thus piercing was not possible.

This has now been corrected as or revision 9114. This should make heavyweights like the OSV-96 and the KVSK more useful.

Also terrifying.

Brilliant! Does this work at less than 100%? I mean, they should stop eventually, but if not, I suppose Arulco IS made out of plywood and sheet metal shacks.

Hi Flugente!

I love the stuff you're doing with JA2. I'm currently exploring the 9085 version of the game and through the INI editor, figured out quite a few things of what you have built and through some of your videos, I was able to piece together a bunch of things that I've been wanting to try for ages now. I still have one question though and I don't really see those answered on the Bears pit.

How do I enter the tileset editor to construct fortification nodes so that I can set my merc to do the fortification assignment? (I've seen the vid, but I don't know the Hotkey to enter the editor like in your vid)

If you could answer this, I'd be a very happy man!

JA2 has always been the peak military tacticool fantasy for me, and it still surprises me how further that can be taken. I suppose the 'simplicity' of these old games just open up new full feature developments that aren't limited to janky sandboxing. Chris Sawyer games too

maan, if only JA3 art assets including story could be just played in JA2, wishful thinking
