There are 2 main types of rotator cuff tears - acute and degenerative. Acute means you suddenly tore your rotator cuff in an accident. Degenerative is when there was no accident and it happened over time. Then there are partial-thickness tears and full-thickness rotator cuff tears.
ALL OF THESE CAN HEAL NATURALLY!

So good to hear that that it will naturally heal for me i think is a partial tear.

I have a near full thickness tear, and it’s not healing seven months after injury. I’ve had a steroid shot, which did nothing, and 6 weeks of physical therapy. I’m having g surgery next month to fix it.

Full thickness tear means a tear of full height or depth of the tendon. A complete rupture, which is different again, resembles you second diagram.

I have a full thickness, tear confirmed by an MRI, how can this heal on its own if it’s not even attached to the tendon anymore? Basically just floating there….
