Hey! I was the guy in the red sweatshirt. I have some really nice photos of the Lexus if you want them!

As someone who may never run these trails (Eastern Canadian) it’s really nice to see your trails and have a glimpse of the beauty of Colorado. Hopefully this becomes a regular series showing all the different trails in more of a relaxed, non vehicle reviewing format. Just showing the world the gorgeous Colorado vistas.
Really enjoyed this one. Thanks 😊

•• Stock approach angle of the 2010-2013 GX 460 is 28 degrees while '14-'23 is 21 degrees... GX 550 is 26 degrees... GX 470 is around 30 or 31

I lived on Dixon road in gold hill. We ran the Switzerland trail regularly. It will not hurt you a great beginner trail. Took my Geo Tracker, Isuzu Trooper, my family Land Cruiser, Jeep grand and Subaru outback up with no issues

Makes me proud Roman to seeing you remove trash. I have no clue why go out and then leave trash in a place they know others will visit.

It’s embarrassing that this thing is unable to just lock diffs. How can the Bronco just lock and unlock instantly and Toyota requires flat ground, rolling back and forth and a sacrifice to ancient gods?

For 1 thing, that GX's GC is 8.7. So, not exactly going to out class other SUV's that are being cross shopped with it. The LC is that way too. So, you will need to either jack it up with more $, or utilize skid plates a bit more often than say if you were driving a 4Runner that has 9.6. It is not earth shatteringly taller, but for a stock vehicle, it has the .. higher ground.

The trail is pretty bumpy. The uproute to Argentine laughs, lol. That guy is a FANTASTIC spotter. I'd be more than happy to have him as a copilot on any trip.

Bottom line-any day outside in the woods having fun is a great day! These longer ride alongs showcase the vehicles well and should help those not sure what their rigs can do to get out there and give it a rip!

What are the odds? I was baking some chocolate chip cookies while watching.🤣

Really love this series.

Loved the addition of the maps. This one I actually knew and I know downtown Boulder, so I knew where you were going and felt like anyone could have easily found their way following these directions. These videos are great and getting better with each iteration. On another note, I just got a Morrflate Airhub. If your sponsor has their own version, you guys should try that out for airing up and down. Very convenient to just set the desired PSI and you can do something else instead of having to monitor progress or do each tire individually. James seems like exactly the co-driver anyone would want to have along. Last thought, the Gold Hill Deli is great and the cookies are really that good. My son graduated CU a couple of years ago, so I don’t find myself in Boulder too often these days, but this video was really great to remind me how awesome it is there. Can’t wait for the Moab series!

James is a great spotter! I didn’t think that Lexus had enough clearance.

Thank you so much for this series. What a beautiful trail!! If ever I manage to get out towards Golden, CO, I will definitely have to find a way to travel that trail.

Switzerland trail is about 45 minutes from my apartment, also has a few fun hill climbs for Dirt bikes. Love seeing the TFL guys so close to home.
