I employed a version of this on soda machines, mid seventies. I used a serrated steak knife as the tool. Les than 3 seconds of jiggly wiggly and the door to the coin box was open. Hot days we did well. Sorry.

I know how the lock works. In fact, I picked quite a number of locks because people like you have encouraged me to learn that hobby. My suggestion would be that you get decent, close-ups and slow down the audio and the video so people can actually see what’s going on.
