Try smashing them a little more. So that you creat a better crust. IMO smash burgers should be super thin to the point where you can see the wholes in the burger. Looks great though 🤤🤤

Don't know if you've tried it before, but Potato buns.
Makes a world of difference.

Looks tasty, man. Beautiful char. I'd eat that all day long.

I like pouring a bit of water around the burger and covering it up for a min at the end qto get that cheese extra melty.

Why toast two buns when you just made a double?

How do you get the meat to not stick to your spatula? Every time I try to make smash burgers the meat always sticks to it if I don’t use foil or something

I thought the traditional recipe included the caramelized onions.

Gas grill, and you "fry" them? Beef is meant to be cooked by flame or coals.

What’s the point in a smash burger? If I’m cooking meat then I want meat. I don’t understand the paper then burger. To me it like eating food that is on a diet.

Smash burgers are truly American
It's just a normal burger but more razzle dazzle around it to scam people in thinking it's something new. 😂

Don't think that qualifies as a smash burger

"A little salt"

Bro, the Atlantic has less salt than you put on those burgers.

All the flavor being squished right on out juices were flowing lol smash burgers are horrible and been around a while lots of cooks used to smash theirs just to get it to cook faster downside is they get dry and have less natural flavor and nutrients
