Speaking as a former McDonald's employee totally true we don't pre salt but we salt them right after they come out of fryer and if they ask for fresh way less chance of fresh than if they ask for no salt

Very true but u can just ask for them cook to order/fresh as well that also works and if u don’t like the first couple bites cause not fresh enough u could just ask for new fries they will likely give them to u for free

Too bad thats not the case in most EU Mc's. Fries are 95% of the time consumed before 20 to 30 mins of them being fried. Salt is added later in the process so there is always a small batch of unsalted fries for the KIOSK orders, asc in drive thru or direct orders almost no one orders unsalted fries. So the chance is youre getting old batch fries when asking for unsalted.
