Viparspectra P1000 Grow light test and review

A test and review of the new Viparspectra P1000 LED grow light.
Tested in a 2 x 2 or 60cm x 60cm space at 25cm hanging height it delivers 1.89 umols/watt usable PPF to the grow canopy and 533 umols average in a 2x2. A very good result for a very cheap light like this.
It is a good quality build as far as I can tell. The spectrum is 4000K CT equivalent or a neutral white with 17% blue (good for vegging and for flowering).

I have an old vipar spectra 600w blurple light.
Faultless peice of kit. Its done around 40, 000 hours, every led is still working and still very bright. The fans do seem a bit louder these days. Good brand, well built and reasonably priced.

Been using this light since it came out an I have to say it is a very well built light an it's very easy on the bill. Love the dimmer especially because I live where it's hot so great add on. An it's been running light cycles now for over 3 months now an its beautiful. Definitely recommend it to you

Love the work u do here and bought the new light! Any way u can boost the audio quality/level on the vids? I struggle to hear u sometimes and have to turn up the volume to max to make it understandable. Well worth it tho. Keep the content coming huge fan.

I use the p600s dimmed 80% in 2x2 tents for mothers.got 2 for $92 shipped.There awesome little lights.running a pc fan exhaust no heat from lights at 80%..I was amazed by the quality for the price..the silicon over the lens stops.all the heat from being able to burn tall plants.

I am currently using it and it's one of the best bang for your buck lights out there, I found it was a little under powered for my tent but I am sure the p2000 would kick some ass

I bought one a few months ago to replace a Sansi 70w. I've got a beefsteak tomato plant and two jalapeno plants fruiting under it. I'm running it at 45 percent and am seeing great results. I liked the sansi but I needed a little more coverage and the dimmer is a nice feature. It's in a 2x3 tent and works well enough for vegetables. Nice price point to start getting into quantum boards.

Seems like a nice budget light. What's the quick comparison between the similar mars hydro and spider farmer. That would be nice if you could post up the data from the three reviews all on one video. Probably help some people looking at a starter led product.

I have several models of their lights. All have been real good. My teacher for hydroponics came and looked at them and tested. Said they were just as good as the $$$ that the scroll purchased. I had one issue with a diode burning out. Their customer service is awesome. Going to get the p1500 soon

I not only grow cannabis but i also sell corals for a reef aquarium i can say the owner of VIPARSPECTRA is a awesome guy my light was 3yrs old on my fishtank . i had alot of high end rare SPS corals and my digital timer went out which made the light useless . I called him told him i need the part i would pay for it and to over night it . He asked me my address said wasnt a big deal it was on him . Told him i would still pay for the over night shipping . He said i asked u for your address not your money. Within 24hrs i had the part in hand with a letter with his personal phone number . Said if i needed help taking the old part out and reinstalling the new one just call regardless of what time it was. So viparspectra will always have my business . If i want a lower end REEF or GROW LED. Didnt ask me when i baught it he didnt care. Told if i had any more issues call him he would work with me until it was right .

Thanks for sharing shane. Personally I'm not a fan of the silicone coated boards, they can become tacky when they heat up and become dirtier than a non coated board much faster. At least in my experience with the SF4000

I bought one and use it in 4x4 works fine just won't get the best yields you could get but for budget light does the job.
