All the “The day the music died” pictures look amazing

0:30 Ouch. I think the AI might have picked up some background on the song.

I thought it was really cool when the song sang “But February made me shiver” and the AI generated an image of a plane crashed in a snowy field, that and how the last “this will be the day that I die” image was of a bunch of young people looking up as the sun exploded

The AI understood the "Moss grows fat on a rolling stone." meaning By generating An image of Bob Dylan

According to some, the Levee was a bar in New Rochelle where McLean lived. When it closed (went dry) the boys drove to Rye, NY, to drink and sang the slightly different lyrics to the Buddy Holly song, That'll be the Day (that I die). So they drank whisky IN Rye.

0:32: But February Made Me Shiver. AI really nailed it on that one.

El pastelito Americano for many years was the longest song written. The father, son and the Holly Ghost.

All you'd need is a competent artist to tidy up each of these images and you'd have the last word on this enigmatic epic and something approaching high art. Very good indeed. 😍

Fun fact it was "the Sergeant played a marching tune" is referred to Sergeant peppers lonely hearts club band

AI has some interesting thoughts about us.

They missed so many references. It would've been cool to show both Lenin and Lennon reading while the quartet is clearly the Beatles. He got Dylan right but he is also the jester. The king is Elvis. They missed that. The marching band is the incident at Kent State. The good ole boys are draftees going to 'Nam, enjoying one last drink before the plunge. The fourth stanza could have been illustrated by the Stones playing onstage- Sympathy for the devil- with members of the Hell's Angels dotting the perimeter as a security force. Janis Joplin could have been the girl singing the blues. And the three men who caught the last train- Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper, who are the impetus for the birth of the song, are wholly dismissed. Need a more nuanced and informed AI.

This is an interesting idea, and a good choice of song

This song and Billy Joel's "We didn't start the fire " should be used in school to teach 20th century history.

Some musician needs to make a song about the day Elvis died. I rember it well as I was like 8 or 9 and my folks sent me to the local store and I saw everyone in their 20s to 50s sad like someone died in their family. I can imagine the day the 3 boys died in the plane probably like when the king died.

probably the best Ai illustrates a song yet.

You've definitely given me video ideas. And unlike AI voices, this is free.

There may be a way to do the AI covers for free, I'm just not aware.

3:32 - This Lyric would make better sense if it is referring to John Lennon not only due to the following lyric about the quartet but also as a reference to the song "Imagine"

Dang... if I only invented AI pictures first. I'd be a famous painter. Selling out each painting.
