"5 C's of Cinematography" Best book for anyone who wants to, or even is in cinematography and interested in shot composition. It covers much much more than just shot composition. I've read it three times cover to cover and still pick up something new with each read through or something gains more of a meaning as my knowledge in film making grows.

Oh I get the right to left thing. Think of it as an old shoot-em-up, the player always moves left to right and obstacles come from the right, preventing the player from moving forward without dispatching the enemy.
