I’m and old boy that started surfing in 1970 on crappy single fin short boards and finally forced out of the water by age and arthritis 10 years back. My last board was a 6’6” fat fish type thing, best board I ever had. I never quite mastered the art of dragging my arse in the water on a backside barrel, much the pity.
I would give up every material possession I have to be able to surf again.

probably it takes a few sessions to get it wired. Great to listen to someone talking about what they went through on the wave.

What I see in videos is that a lot of people only surf the first two barrels, since the inside is so pinchy.

Most surf videos cut when there is a wide section that its hard to make tyring to make waves look far more perfect than they are. Your average surfer isnt making shit at greenbush.
