LG TV loses WIFI Connection | Quick Fix WIFI Signal Dropping Out - EASY

We were repeatedly losing our wifi signal to our LG smart TV. Once we determined the problem was coming from the TV , we found a quick fix for this. It is definitely worth a try. So far we have been quite happy as the fix seems permanent!
If you find that your LG tv will not stay connect to wifi or if you occasionally lose you tv's WIFI signal, all is not lost. It may not be your internet provider. The problem may be you TV. Apparently, this is a know issue with LG tv's but they haven't done a patch for the problem. So here's a potential solution when your LG smart TV drops its connection again!.

But here's the thing u should not have to do this..lg knows these wifi modules are garbage..but we find these workarounds and not hold them accountable..can we all say CLASSACTION LAWSUIT!!!

This is fabulous!I have 25+ years in tech and just got my lg last night. I read about the wireless issue, and sure enough just over a day after installation this problem reared its head. It's a known issue, and I agree with those who are calling for a class action.

We’ve had the motherboard, Wi-Fi board and everything else replaced and as soon as we had to do a software update.. bang! Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect again.. tried this and connected straight away! Thank you so much!! I’ll keep you posted as as to whether this completely fixes the issue or if it’s just a temporary fix. 🤞🏻we won’t have this issue again! Thanks a million!!

Thank you, HouseBarons! This worked like a charm. Before finding your video, we unplugged & replugged the LG for days each time if lost signal. Like you, we knew it was the TV because our other devices worked throughout the house. Unplugging was no longer fixing the problem. We toggled the location as you describe, and we're back online!
