I am super happy to hear all your positive comments about this wonderful Yamaha YC61 as I have just ordered one yesterday. I will also be investing in a Yamaha CP88 in the near future so I could have the CP88 for all the piano work and the YC61 for solo, strings, choirs and others … These will be for my small music studio at home together with a MacBook Pro 14” running Logistics Pro and lots of Spitfire Audio libraries … Thank you once again for such brilliant reviews

04:10 does this mean that I can use to auxilary sounds simultaneously or it's just this patch that's set up like this ? Good video and music.

Havn't felt one yet. I hear almost all good things about the action, but contrary descriptions!! Some say "perfect for organ playing", others say "a really great compromise between organ playing and piano". Now I tend to think unless Yamaha has really innovated here, its probably either more of a compromise, "pretty good for both", which is great in itself of course, OR truly great for organ, as with say the Mojo. Your opinion? because Im certainly intrigued by a tri-timbral organ focused board with a great interface for live playing, a board that could be, conceivably, the sound source from a top-of-two board, but with an organ feel instead of a synth or hammer action.

Good sales pitch, but unfortunately no review. I got this myself, although there is much good to say about the keyboard there are a few very apparent issues. The rotary sims are poorly modelled which most owners agree to (compared with e.g. Ventilator etc.), actually the effect rotary sim are better than the speaker/amp! The key triggers are way too low for proper Hammond style organ playing. The reverb section is limited and strangely designed. Also the additional sounds are a bit too few, but those that are there are very good! It's an impressive keyboard but being organ-centric unfortunately Yamaha missed a few things.
