I remember working at a convenience store and we had new lotto machines put in that take cash or card and there would be lines all day. i bought a 5 dollar gold rush and won 5, 000 dollars so in my opinion it comes down to luck, winning tickets are out there but at best you'll probably win a few thousand I've never heard of anyone winning a million on scratch offs.
