I love how all of a sudden, Lisa has a Southern accent.

Man, there's something really depressing about seeing Simpsons characters in a worse state all grown up.

"Hey, Honey"
"Hey, Angel Pie. Can you drive me to the library? I want to rent us some movies."
"I'll get your coat."

I love how Wesley grabs the prying bar immediately after she says his name. He knows what's up

Married to someone you love who loves you back? Please don't burden us with such high expectations for the future, Simpsons.

Fate had us meet as strangers, but this algorithm will make us brothers

0:19 I find it wholesome that Wesley takes after his Uncle Bart in looks.

Well, smiling when she sees her husband arriving, referring to him and her kids affectively, the fact that they had 8 kids and that she seems to be relaxed and chilling, may be a signal that in that reality she was actually happy. Maybe more resigned to that life rather than actually happy or fulfilled, but yeah, kinda happy and satisfied with what she has: a stable marriage, a home and kids, as well as the little pleasures she has to entertain herself. And I think that is exactly what Lisa really fears, to be resigned yet happy to a life that she considers mediocre instead of being able to achieve her dreams and goals as the ambitious and intelligent woman she currently is. But I don´t think this is objectively the worse scenario, it is the worst for Lisa´s mind because she understands it as renouncing to intellectual happiness in exchange of a more "physical", lame, and "easy" happiness. But I think that being neutral this is kinda "The best worst scenario" for a person like Lisa in any case, it´s not really bad, it´s just bad for what it represents to the person Lisa currently is.

The only thing nightmarish about this scenario is Lisa's weight, but otherwise she's got a loving marriage, a home, and kids that seem well behaved. To a lot of people, such a life is a luxury.

Past families: "Oh, god. How horrifying."

Everyone today just wanting someone who loves them and children who behave: "...this is a joke?"

apparently Ralph makes enough money selling hot dogs to support a large family for Lisa to be a stay at home mom and to defiantly eat well sure shes overweight thats not good but on the whole not a bad outcome Ralph may be a bit slow but he doesn't seem like a bad guy loves his wife makes decent pay don't see the downside hear
