Unfortunately I live in Australia and it isn't easy to get any of the reliable or good adapters the best 2 we got is that cheap one the Americans use or the hyperkin cable which in my opinion is not only over priced but worse then the cheap option the hyperkin cable makes everything to dark

I ordered a cheap version from aliexpress and seemed to work good when I first tried it. Now that I started using it more there seems to be a constant glitch on the screen. I put my monster composite cables back on and the glitch disappeared telling me it’s the hdmi converter. It’s a sealed unit and probably a cheaper one. I think I paid about $12 for it maybe. I do actually like the picture better then the composite cables. Too bad there is a already a problem with it although it is still playable.

Utter crap! It gives the same EXTREMELY dark picture just like all other available XBOX HDMI solutions!!!!

Why on earth are you comparing HDMI, which is for component, to Composite?

It even tells you in the product description you need HD video modes enabled. Which means it's component signals.

You need to redo this and NOT compare to composite but to another adapter OR to a decent component cable.
