Can you ride an Electric Scooter in the rain?☔

Due to the rain, we thought we could not make a video.... until now! In this video, we quickly take a look at whether you can ride an electric scooter in the rain. We use two different electric scooters which are the Xiaomi M365 Pro and the iEZway M365 Pro Electric Scooter to see how they cope in rainy conditions.

We had so much fun recording this video in the rain and I hope you had as much fun watching it as we did making it.

Good video you chaps - however I just noticed on my Xiao mi Essential that it says no scooting in rain or puddles. I'm worried that it might mean damaging the motor / electricals or maybe even getting an electric shock. I ordered a silicone rain cover for the dash.
I mean, here in Ireland it's impossible to go without getting rained at sone point on even on a sunny day.

One point to mention, purchase 3mm waterproof stickers or a display waterproof casing as water will get into the power button and potentially damage your scooter.

My s10 megawheels for $213 total during Christmas can ride in sprinkles and hasn’t died yet ofc these scooters will work!👍🏻😎

For me, the back tire whipping out is the reason I would ride out in the rain it makes you feel scared, alive and happy at the same time

I was riding in the rain and snow on an electric scooter and it was fun and everything works

I do take care of my vehicles whatever form it is, though i think its weird to sell a scooter thats not wtarproof,
so i have ride it in rain, snow and try avoid the puddles, i try to use it as sparse i can and had no issues at all.

i do waterspray the wheels and arcs inside and under the board (dirt and snow really collects there (make a cardboard
lip you just tejp on the frontend of the batterything and you avoid lot of shit (it may stand for a while but so easy to make a new if needed).after each ride to let 95% drip off.
For riding in slippery conditions (wet glossy mallstoneplates/subway etc, or snow, just go slow in turns and ride uppstraight (no leaning at all by use the side of the tyres)

I'm not really worried about the safety of riding in the rain, I'll just go slower if needed.
I am however worried about damaging my Xiaomi Mi Pro2. Is there anyone here that has experience with riding in the rain on a Pro2? Is there any real risk for damage?
