Help With iMovie Basics- 2018 / 2019 Tutorial

Need Help with iMovie? This is an iMovie For Beginners Tutorial. In this video I will show you how to create your first iMovie movie in about 15 minutes with step-by-step instructions. I just did my first project and have 2 DUMB questions (which by the way Googling does not seem to help)...
(1) How do you Save the project? There appears to be no "save" function. What if you are working on several uncompleted projects - it seems they'd be lost. I understand export when finished, but what if you are not finished and want to come back another time?
(2) Where does you media go when you close the application? The clips in my media bin have disappeared. I closed my project - which was not yet complete, hoping it would be there when I returned (even though no "save" function), the timeline was there but the media with all my available clips in the window above it was GONE. Some unrelated stuff was there instead.
I'm sure there has to be a way to do these things for incomplete projects. Perhaps not very intuitive? THANKS for your comments and help!
