What if GOKU used SUPER KAIOKEN against Cell?

I think you're underestimating the potential of super kaioken. SSJ1 is 50x base and SSJ2 is 100x base. That would mean ssjkaioken is 50x*2 base which is basically SSJ2. He'd be a little bit weaker than OG ssj2 Gohan, but far more than enough for Cell. I'd say Cell would be defeated easily, unless Cell would use kaioken as well.

There are some problems with this Alternate Timeline, as FPSSJ Son Goku using a 2X Kaiōken would have been more than enough to have surpassed and then defeated Perfect Cell, Son Goku should have been constantly receiving Zenkai Boosts from him recovering from his injuries after eating a Senzu Bean during the Cell Games, and Son Gohan should have still been able to achieve Full Power Super Saiyan, as Son Gohan has a higher natural fighting potential and hidden potential than Son Goku too.

Honestly this was a way better and more meaningful death for Goku, I wish it would have played out like this, also I would love to see your take on 16 in the future story especially T.O.P given how much stronger 17 got I think there's a lot of potential there for 16. Great video!

I was under the impression the reason he never did this in the manga was due to the fact the Kaio-ken requires immense focus and a relatively calm mind, and turning Super Saiyan period meant being in a state of emotional turmoil. It wasn't a matter of killing himself instantly, it just wasn't physically possible.

This was actually an interesting, though short What if. By the way, if you do take suggestions, could you do What if the Earth didn't forget Goku after the battle against King Piccolo? It may not change things drastically, but it's an interesting scenario to think about, particularly if Hercule can't take credit against Cell or the population's reaction to their dead champion coming back in the Buu Saga for the tournament.

The real question is why cell didn't do it? His body should've absolutely been able to handle it given what he is. And theirs no reason for him not to have known it.

I don't really see how SSJ with KK would be stressful or at least more stressful than already using it in Base. I know Super says it would be, but in the original story, Goku and Gohan mastered SSJ to the point where it became their new base form during the ten days with no drawbacks to speak of.

Goku might not be able to fight combining both at the same time, but what about combining them just for one single blast like the one kamehameha he performed against Cell?

So Goku might try to stack Kaioken on top of his SSJ2 or even SSJ3 in the afterlife.
Android 16 might either work for Capsule corp or work with Android 17, if Android 16 lives in Capsule corp and continues receiving updates from Bulma, 16can become vegeta’ training partner.
Kirrlin need longer time to empress Android 18.
Those can contribute to a lots difference not just in Buu arc, but also in Super.
