Angelo's Mom Makes Greek Summer Salad

A Greek summer salad (or "village salad" as a Greek viewer just told me) is basically just vegetables without lettuce. My mom uses:

-Tomatoes
-Cucumber
-Onions
-Parsley
-Arugula
-Banana pepper
-Olive oil
-Feta cheese
-Olives
-Pita bread

Just cut them up and mix them together. Mix it up and you're done. If you don't like it, you've got to be kidding.

Yum! We add lemon juice and sometimes the oil is mixed with vinegar.
We also use tahini and homas dip with the pitta bread.
We occasionally add shredded cabbage too. That's how we used to eat it as we grew up in Cyprus. Oh and hallumi cheese!!! Yum yum.

i love her. she remembers me with my grandmother the way she cuts the vegetables with no bord lol and the salad we put the same ingredients but without cheese. God bless her and treat her well jackass 😂😂😂

Lettuce is so wrong in a Greek salad. If the restaurant is giving you lettuce it's because it's a cost cutting measure.

It’s Greek salad without arugula guys. This feta isn’t real authentic feta, more salt and poor quality.i’m Greek and I know very well from Greek feta
