CNC Router Build 11 - Stepper Motor Issue
Check out my new step by step controller box build here:

I set up my controls per the manual that I got from the company that I ordered my new breakout board and drives from. I input all settings as instructed into Mach3. When running a test run I noticed that my steppers are not running like they had on my all in one board I previously purchased. They obviously do not sound right to me.

I'm hoping that someone can explain to me the problem and a solution. Am I getting interference possibly from my 120 volt supply?

Problem Resolved!

After reading and reading and more reading of the PDF file instructions I noticed I had the "spindle" on "motor outputs" still selected/checked from my previous board setup instructions. I de-selected this and it fixed the issue! I notice that it conflicted with the "output signals" tab on port and pin numbers that were needed for the new board.

Did you ground your shielded wire on one end to a earth ground ? mine did the about same thing .After grounding the shield it all stopped.
