Russia's Putin blames West for tensions since end of Cold War

Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed the West on Tuesday for escalating tensions in Europe, saying it had incorrectly assessed the outcome of the Cold War.

Speaking to senior military officials, Putin said Russia would respond "adequately" to any Western aggression and would develop its army further.

Russia has amassed tens of thousands of troops on the border with Ukraine, demanding that NATO refuse to accept the former Soviet republic as a member and guarantee that no weapons or troops will be deployed there.

Take notice that when your Canadian or American politicians speak, the news tends to show them say three words and then the news reporter speaks over top, to explain to the viewers, in English, what the politician (who is speaking English) is saying, more or less.
But when Vladmir speaks on the same news, they allow him to speak without Dawna speaking over top of him. Try to figure this out people.
