i feel like the idea of it being a megaraptorid makes sense because of its giant size can be compared to the ceratopsians that it ted bundied earlier in the show.

One of the best episodes of Primal, i loved that they didn’t reveal what The Night Feeder looks like until Spear and Fang defeat it in the end, it makes you wonder what this horrifying, unnatural monstrosity looks like while it mutilates every living creature throughout the episode

The small Compy-like dinosaur at the beginning of the episode was the culprit, using the black tar seen in the ape-men episode to grow into a much larger and deadlier creature (almost like a werewolf of the dinosaur world)

I think it was that small lizard we saw in the episode. Think back to the episode with the giant ape turning into an almost impossible to defeat monster. I think that lizard would find something similar and walk in it and transform into the night feeder which would also explain why it would be covered in the tar stuff. Also the moon is the same during the time of the attack just like in the episode where the ape monster attacks

what I love about many Primal animals is that despite being very overpowerer, they still have detrimental weaknesses that kinda balgendes out nicely

I saw a theory that said he is the compy that appears at the beginning of the episode, but the compy somehow drank the black liquid that transforms you into a monstrously strong version of you. This theory is very plausible because when it's night, the color palette turns black and green, which is the same palette as the black liquid EP, and this creature has supernatural strength. And after it dies, the compy no longer appears.

I heard of theories of people saying that this monster is a "were dinosaur", just because it only shows up at night during a full moon. We never see the night feeder at daytime, but we did see a compy munching on flies a few times while Spear and Fang are continuing their journey.

The fact that the Argentinosaurus doesn't stop growing in size even after hitting adulthood, makes this more scarier.

I like the theory that Altori had where it was a tiny harmless little company creature but at night the tar turned it into a night feeder. I recommend the video it's really good.
