Never expected a very practical demonstration but there we are! Works similarly to a workstation synth sequencer, atleast the ones I have some idea of. In a DAW you make a pattern and copy-paste it to fill that part of the track unless I am missing something, not a DAW kind of fella!

I think there are 2 main categories.
For the most part, they are "in the moment" "fidget toys" for nothing other than wasting time. On the other hand, there are the Rebillet/Sheeran/Kawehi types doing what they do.
Personally there is just something about WATCHING live looping that is very annoying, but I think that DOING preplanned full songs would possibly be fun.

On the Boss desktop looper, would it be possible to record large loops the size of a song and build a whole song, with say about 20 different tracks/instruments? I'm thinking about getting a Boss looper. Thanks.

Or on the pa5x record it as audio mp3 then play back on player two whilst using style in player 1

My first thought! I don't need one - I can just setup track switching and loop inside my DAW.
