Your videos have inspired me to quit my dead end job and pursue a new career as a first responder. I’m 28 and I’m not wasting another year of my life.

I’m going to be a first generation firefighter.

Joined FDNY in 1973. 23 years old. Best move I ever made. Retired at 73. Highly recommend it!

Quit my construction job that I absolutely hated and I start with my local fire department next Wednesday. I go to fire academy in April for 13 weeks in Fort Payne Alabama. I’m so stoked

I am 17 and I am a part of a Fire Exploration program. Over the past 3 weeks (since the class started), I feel like I belong, I am more confident, and I genuinely feel much better. I am going to a local college after I graduate to become a firefighter paramedic. Thank you sir. You have helped inspire me.

I’m 28 years old and having quite the early/mid life crisis. I’ve always wanted to be a firefighter but my family always made it difficult for me to do so. I’m seriously considering going back down that road.

I am 16 and firefighting has been on my mind for about 2 years. I really wanted to join in and experience this. It really inspired me when I was young when my pops was speaking about it. Hopefully I succeed this far to become an firefighter

Your videos helped me know where to start looking, and inspired me to finally look for a career change!
I've ALWAYS wanted to be a Firefighter, but I ended up stuck in a routine job that I didn't enjoy.
Finally training and applying! I'm dine wasting my life!

I agree 100% with what you’re saying, especially the part about this job being meaningful and being recognized because the impact it has on others by what we’ve done for them. Recently I retired after being an EMT for 30 years, and even now, when people find out I was an EMT, they thank me for my service. So this ripple effect, or this aspect of it can continue even after retiring from the service, which gives me the satisfaction that I really helped to make a meaningful difference in my chosen profession. Great video as always!!! 😎👍👍👍

Wonderful video!
To me, Firefighting is the PERFECT job for me because I tried really hard to get into IT and other things, however I just struggled there and I never had a passion for those. But for firefighting, I've had a MASSIVE passion and I really enjoy learning more about them.
The 4 days on, 4 days off sounds really exhausting at first but I bet soon you will get used to it and it will be okay.
I love how firefighting gives you so many days off, I would love to wake up whilst everyone is rushing to work and I have 3 days off in a row or something hahahah

I will NEVER get bored of saving lives and I love that you get to know the family of the people you have rescued, I will never get tired of that

Man, I really want to be a firefighter, I really wish I become one soon, vacancies are just very difficult, but once you're in. You're pretty much the happiest person haha

Excellent video, people sometimes don’t understand the real purpose of this type of jobs.
Help others, is a much deeper meaning.
