Easy Crochet Chunky Knit Look Beanie - Easiest Beanie Ever

This crochet tutorial shows how to crochet an easy knit-look beanie with chunky yarn. Any other weight yarn will work too. The crochet stitch is very basic so this beanie is very easy to make. This will be my first crochet project. I’ve started over several times. My biggest lesson learned with this is as you crochet, the panel tightens up resulting in the length shrinking. So I had to start with a longer braid than I needed to compensate for the shrinkage.
