in windows 7 i am getting i need to be battery replaced should i replace or what also my battery is discharging at a very quick rate tell me what can i do ... Suggest me!!!

i wonder if i could have when my battery is plugged it says 100% and stays at it for a couple of minutes then goes to 98% but thats not the problem the problem is that my laptop would shut off a couple minutes later and the only way to turn it back on is to have it plugged in. but when i get back into windows it says 100%.. any idea?

I'm sorry but this didn't help my battery problems at all. but i never knew there was a life button on my battery. my problem involves the 9 golden teeth that connect the battery to the laptop. my brother yanked 3 of them out.
