We establish an analogue of Fourier analysis for a finite abelian group G. A decomposition of L^2(G) is given in terms of characters. Versions of Schur Orthogonality Relations and the Peter-Weyl Theorem are given.

You're welcome! Not yet. The plan is to clean up this playlist and finish with characters and basic finite Fourier analysis. I should have enough tools for Clifford's Theorem; I'm better with Lie groups than finite groups. - Bob

Prove that every abelian group of order p^2 where p is a prime, is either cyclic or isomorphic to the direct product of 2 cyclic groups.
