I discovered Amy in lockdown in nov 2020 when I was 15 and I just became obsssed now I can’t relate to any of her music but it’s just something bout her . Her aura, her personality, her voice . I envy her even though she’s not here anymore but she inspired me to write and play guitar never thought of it until I found out about her .

To those asking how to watch this overseas, best thing I can suggest is getting a vpn so you can change your ip to a uk ip address. Trying to find another link like a youtube vid or leaked online is not likely with it being the BBC, here in the uk you have to pay for a separate tv license just to watch bbc so they’re super protective of their content. I don’t personally know of any free vpns.

I think this is more of an exercise to clear Mitch and Janis' name than to tell the true story of Amy. I'm not saying they are to blame at all but there's literal footage of Mitch not having his daughters best interests at heart several times.

Amy had a condition called BPD - something I was diagnosed with back in ‘08. People with BPD can have an addictive traits. BPD is such a misunderstood mental health problem, especially within the realms of the MH Services, with very little to no help available (although I have heard it’s very slightly improved over the years.. but it’s still very much a postcode lottery). Amy was crying for help but didn’t know how to go about change (something also feared when suffering BPD), what breaks my heart more than anything is that she really was on the road to overcoming her addictions, she was so close. I admired her & related to her not just through her music but on a personal level. She’s dearly missed by so many, always will be.

It just let me speachless with a lot of goosebumps on my spine. "I'm scared of myself". I was waiting so much this documentary about the music icon and the beautiful Amy Winehouse, but because of the exclusivity rights of the British BBC I player, i cannot watch it, i live in Romania, is there any posibility to have access on this exclusively documentary about Amy? This is not right that as a fan i cannot even buy it, because it is nowhere listed for sale? WTF?
I think this documentary is illuminating completely the story behind her issues and this will brought in the public perception who really Amy was as a human being through a more deeply perspective with intimate details about her struggles, strengths, exposure, vulnerability and greatness.
You inspired me in the pandemic 2020 to involve more in music, to learn drums and also eager and intention to learn electric guitar.

People just want someone to blame but... _did you ever thought maybe her dad couldn't understand mental health struggles because it wasn't a topic of discussion when he was growing up and her ex partner was just a unreasonable person like many people are._ I think it was a tr4gedy moved by ignorance about drugs instead of something caused by a person, sometimes the answer is much more simple than what you want to believe
