This won’t answer any questions or bring anything new to light. It will just dramatize an ultimately sad and painful end. Just listen to her music and let her rest in peace.

I find it fascinating how often nowadays people have sympathy and love for her when she's gone than when she was alive. The British press was a special brand of scum. She clearly was going through a lot of with her substance abuse and didn't fail at being cruel posting her on the cover. I've always have been a fan of hers and was heartbroken at how her life ended. She deserved better.

I remember how she was torn down & made fun of while she lived. Now, the british media act as though she was their cherished, beloved icon. It's so sad she wasn't given this love & respect during her lifetime. Let this woman Rest in Peace.

i think the AMY documentary captured her life and career perfectly. it had real footage of her and told her story the right way. we really don't need an impression of her. let her rest.

I am an Arab man. I used to work with the British Army in Iraq as an interpreter, and in the camp I always listened to Amy Whitehouse’s songs, but some of the soldiers used to tell me that she was crazy and had destroyed herself by becoming addicted to drugs. I was surprised by this talk at the time, but when Amy died, I was very sad and cried even more. I still feel hurt by her story😢😢

Back to Black album is absolutely one of the best albums ever recorded. I feel like she created a brand-new style, taking influences from various genres.

The documentary, "Amy" was incredible. There was no need for THIS film to be made.

Amy would've hated this. She never liked being in the spotlight. Performing for large audiences wasn't for her, she preferred small underground jazz clubs. The constant hounding from the tabloids fucking destroyed her. Her last tour induced so much stress that she relapsed into alcoholism and died.

IMO - The documentary "Amy" captured her life very well. I don't think this movie is needed!

It disgusts me how the media and the public ridiculed her, insulted and humiliated her so much while she was alive, and then conveniently turned around and praised her after she died.

I Can still remember being 8 and getting ready for school here in Mexico, my parents had the news on and as my mom was doing my ponytail, I heard them announcing Amy’s death and showing all the tributes Mexican fans were doing, I remember being shocked. Her talent crossed borders that’s for sure❤

This film had touched me and left me with deep thoughts... I painted a pprtrait of Amy im 2010 and then heard that she passed away in 2011. I love you Amy, and I'll always miss you❤❤❤

We all know her story, those of us who lived and were blessed to live during her time. We know her voice, we have 'AMY' to know her life and we all remember the live trainwreck that happened on stage too. But what we DON'T need is this glossed over version of the truth and someone who's willing to make a buck off her story.

If you have Mitch Winehouse in the mix, you DO NOT have our respect as we are fans. This movie shouldn't exist

The first time I cried for an artist I admired was for Amy. I will never forget that Saturday night in 2011...

Listen, I've been a fan of Amy's since about 2008. I was just a young girl in my early 20's. I was nearly obsessed with Amy and devastated when she passed away. Because of my fascination with Amy, I can easily say that this actress is just that... an actress, and maybe she's done a good job, I haven't seen it. But she definitely didn't capture Amy's personality, from what I see in the trailer. Maybe no one could. Amy didn't speak in regular, straight sentences like this. She really did not care about what other people thought of her, she was loyal to Blake, and she was kind. She also had a very idgaf kinda attitude about everything, very straightforward, doesn't mind offending people, speaks whats on her mind, kind of girl. She wasn't trying to impress people. If you go back and watch her interviews, you'll see what I'm saying. She loved Donnie hathaway, sam cooke, and once said she felt like a black man in a jewish girl's body. She was really funny and likeable. I wish she was still making music today.

Amy's documentary said more than enough that we needed to know about her. To this movie about 'I say NO NO NO!!'
