I have visited Salto Angel, or “Angel Falls” as you called it, probably only several months shy of the takeover by Hugo Chavez. My mother is big on eco-trips and we took an two day canoe ride along the Amazon before camping out overnight and then finally getting to the waterfalls the next day. It is something to behold with one’s own eyes and I would not be surprised if there were some great mysteries to be revealed in that beautiful land at the top end of South America.

I, too, have learned more from Origins Explained than I ever did in school. I now have a passion for archeology and ancient history. I hardly remember anything from History or Social Studies classes when I was still in school. I'm positive I would have had a career in archeology had I known a quarter of the information then as I know now. I love to hear Katrina introduce herself at the beginning of each video. another interesting video Katrina! You always do an excellent job-my first thoughts on the video about those high flat mountains (lost worlds) in the clouds and what they could contain. As a certified horticulturist, there are many cases of isolated places containing unique animal and plant life. In this case, plants that thrive on the fog (moisture) but low levels of oxygen (mosses, ferns etc.) reptiles would fine the moisture favorable as well. Mammal/bird are probable too (hunter/prey cycle). I would love to see it for myself. Thank you for such interesting videos!

It is highly unlikely that we have intergalactic visitors to this planet. My theory is that the UFO/UAP phenomenon is that they are terrestrial but of non-human origin. I believe that the reason almost every culture has a story or histories of lost advanced civilizations is because there was one. They evacuated to space to escape global catastrophe (possibly self imposed) and left us behind. A few of them did not evacuate and instead saved some humans and helped those humans start up their own civilization. The ones that did evacuate came back to find us thriving and building our own civilizations and decided to observe our progress and make sure we don't repeat their mistake. It's more plausible than E.T.s showing up simply because everything you find here on Earth you can find out there save for the biodiversity here. That being said I feel like there are probably more planets with significant biodiversity than we want to admit cause we wanna be special lol.

There isn't much need for embalming fluid nowadays there aren't any cultures practicing it so no need to do major experiments into it. Also the picts here in Scotland knew how to mummify bodies thousands of years before him. They buried their dead in peat bogs and when they are found they are in much better condition than the ones shown in this vid
