Infinite Loading Screen Fixes | 10 Different Methods | Loading Screen Fix | Star Citizen 3.12

In today's video we discuss all potential options to fix the infinite loading screen available to us. I mean literally everything I could find.

- Our first and simplest method resolved this issue for me and it was Switching Regions.
- Our second option is slightly more complicated and isn't the same as what it use to be and that is a bed log out in arena commander, which isn't really possible anymore but more on that later.
- Moving on a lot of users mention reducing your graphics quality to medium or low and then conntecting to the best server region. Multiple reproductions have mentioned it working for them and multiple have mentioned it not. If you are already on medium drop to low.
- Ah the old tried and true gender change method. Quite simple swap genders and attempt to log in as normal.
- Some users have suggested logging into your hangar and then either spawned their ship and then logged into the PU or just logged out of hangar and into the PU. I haven't seen great success but everyone is different.
- The next method is to delete your user folder. I wasn't expecting this to help but if the issue council speaks it something must be working! Also you can just change your userfolder's name to something else and if it doesn't work change it back. We won't go over this one in detail as I've already made a video on how to do this!
- Lastly is a character reset. Multiple people have reported it working and I assume it has something to do with resetting your spawn. We also won't go over this much as I've done an indepth video on this as well!

Alright lets get the random suggestions in:

- Multiple computer restarts was one, I'm not sure if it actually had any real affect but at least one restart sounds like a reasonable solution. Let me ask you citizen, have you tried turning it off and on again?
- One fella had the issue with his cutty and exchanged it on the pledge store and then bought a freelancer. I presume this worked because it errored his bed as no longer existing but I'll never know. Talk about dedication though.
- Ah I forgot this one, if you are boredless full screen it is mentioned to try going into fullscreen as well as vice versa. Not many people mentioned this.

The methods listed below are going to be a collective of the ones mentioned in video and the comments, don't worry I read them all!

- turn off desync
- Switching Regions.
- bed log out in arena commander
- Reducing your graphics quality to medium or low and then conntecting to the best server region

so, i'd tried everything on this list, and every comment here, Nothing helped, nothing worked. Was finally about to do the character reset when a buddy of mine on discord told me that i was showing as online, in the menu, but i didnt even have the game loaded at the time. sooo, i logged into spectrum, via the updater, logged out of spectrum specifically, closed everything. went back to the updater, logged out of that, logged back in to that, and viola! i was able to get back into the game. It took a few days, but, game stuck me right back, even showed up, in my prospector bed, full of quant, and hadnt exploded. lol! Might help if anyone is still stuck, give it a try.

Deleting user folder worked for me after I tried everything else before it

1. time i got error code 30009 > character reset solved it.
2. infinite Loading Screen > Gender change worked

Having this issue on 3.23.1 patch for the free launch event. None of these work because the game launches and hits me with an infinitely loading screen for the Main Menu. After inputting a console command to display the FPS, I see Current Player Location is INVALID LOCATION ID. That’s about it. *shrug*

Something I have to mention is RAM bottleneck, if you play in 16Gigs of RAM you are lost likely to encounter this issue, usually a RAM limitation so don't spawn in event locations if youre coming in for the event, spawn in a lower density entity area, the best area used to be Port Tresler before it was removed, so now you will have to spawn in area 18, but spawn elsewhere if it host events, another method is allocating a large Page RAM size under advance system settings there you can put even 8Gb more just for good measure because it eats into page ram when it needs

I tried the gender change, the region switch, and logging into arena commander as I had seen them as suggestions to fix this before. Something new that your video introduced was changing my graphics from very high to Medium...and it worked! Thank you so much for this video. I love this game, but sometimes the issues can really grind my gears.

I VERY rarely have the Never Ending Loading Screen problem. What I've done the few times I've experienced it is first, I've determined that on my particular computer it ALWAYS takes less than 2 mins to load. I glance at my watch or wall clock as I hit the visit location button and if it goes more than 2 mins, I simply restart the computer. It always loads successfully on the next try.
As a side note I find that the little oscillating white line below the word LOADING stutters and moves irregularly when there's going to be a successful load and oscillates at a regular steady pace when its going to get stuck infinitely loading (most of the time).

I have a similiar issue: when I try to log in the game loads for a while and then just crashes to deskrop, I've tried all these steps but none seem to work. I have the game installed on an SSD and 16 GB of ram, I've tried monotoring it during the loading but it doesn't seem to go past 11 GB. Any suggestions to solve this issue?

Logging into my my hanger and spawning random things then out and straight to PU worked. Spawned me into the middle of the sun on the map but was just space. Straight into a 20k. I have noticed at this time in the early morning it happens several times in a row. I wonder if they kill all old servers and that’s why it’s a 20k instead of a 30k.

I solved it by joining with my Friend as a Groupleader. He just selected joining the Vers.
