Quality rebuild! No frame damage. No air bag deployment. Mostly OEM parts. Low mileage. Test driven 700 miles to shake out any potential bugaboos.
All in all, a beautiful SUV. That’s why I BOUGHT IT.!!
Easy, professional transaction. Thanks Scott, it was a pleasure.

Love the quality you bring to your craft, done with a touch of humor.

My problem with Fram filters is that they don’t last the 80, 000 miles I drive between oil changes

Loved the throwing out the Ford emblem! Henry Ford is turning over in his grave the way it's being run now! Great build and humor as always.

I work at the plant that makes these cars. Nice to see this one receiving quality repair. Nice vids 👍

Haters screaming that the bag of rice is "racist" in

Nice build Scott, turned out really nice. And I don't dislike the red seats either, kinda almost like em.
I am surprised you haven't already sold it tho.

Always learn some things that help me keep my old autos running. The heat gun idea especially with disassembling brittle plastic.
I really would prefer to have a professional deal with all these things but I can’t take my trucks to the shop for all the little things that start to degrade on older vehicles. I’m not faulting mechanics, or garages, probably cost a small fortune to run a shop in 2023.
Funny thing is, I’m back to doing the things I did when I was 18 and needed to keep a car on the road, with a 5$ budget.
You could stuff your toolbox with a lot of Junk yard parts for the cost of a visit, most of them didn’t work, but the price was great.

I’ve watched your videos for quite sometime now, and learned a lot. I’m amazed at how complex cars have become, how everything seems to snap together, and how many parts they have. I read a recent article saying “Ford says it will cut costs by reducing the number of parts in its vehicles”. I would love to see a video by you talking about how cars have become so complex over the years (and how), your thoughts on that increased complexity, and your thoughts on how car companies could do what Ford is saying it will do.

Scott, I really appreciate your approach to figuring the prices of components and parts, and finding a way to save on anything you can (like the front grill, emblem and surround). Many people would just “order a new one” without thinking about how to make it look like new for a fraction of the price. Margin is important, and you and Mr. Spotty do a great job of showing how to maximize it.

Thanks for another educational and entertaining video, Scott. This was a great way to start the weekend on a Friday evening.

When you were clipping all those parts back together it reminded me of those toy cars I had when I was a kid that when you crashed them into something they just popped apart and all you had to do is pop the parts back on and they looked just like new until you crashed them into the next thing that got in the way.

OK, that was a nice (professional) touch, replacing the horn, even though it still worked. Having the foresight of possible corrosion & a crummy location to replace it in the future was a class move!

$30K for this vehicle is very reasonable. Having had a long line of it's Honda sister vehicle, they're really great at what they do.

I am impressed with your impeccable tenacity. Your work is one of the best and you are so meticulous- it is a quality that is missing from most people. You put a lot of pride and it shows.
Looking forward to more videos. Thanks for the entertainment!

I like how you painted both sides of the front hood, unlike the factory.

Like popping bubble wrap, listening to you snap the bumper bits together is oddly satisfying.
