Hi.. I am NRI and I have purchased a villa an year back of value 1.10cr with a down payment of 25lac and a bank loan of 85 lacs. Please note the property registration is still pending. I have decided to sell it now for value of 1.50cr to other buyer in india. May I know the taxes and TDS involved.
May I reduce these costs if I directly get the registration done on the new buyer. Please advise

NRI bought property in India source of Nri. While sale I got profit. Tax is for profit or capital.

I am purchasing flat from NRI for property located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.. At the time of sale deed registration.. my owner is asking upfront DD on the day of sale deed registration whereas my Bank (from which I am taking loan) is saying that bank will provide copy of DD issued in the name of Owner on the day of sale deed registration and original DD will be given on the day of receipt of registered copy of sale deed as it takes 24 hours to receive from sub-register office in Gujarat... Pl let me know who is right in this case ?
