"Do not lose the treasure of your self for the pleasure of senses"
Very relevant to modern Western Society.

“Do not lose the treasure of your self for the pleasure of senses” You have no idea how badly I needed to hear that, tears streaming down my face as I write this, but I will overcome, I will evolve, I will CHANGE.

I’ve had to rewatch this about 5 times and the part on love and lust has really resonated with me. Finding more love in yourself and purpose is something that should be strived for. Any external things should be as an add on and not a lustful attachment or desire. Overcoming human nature is part of the success but it’s extremely difficult to practice.

I am a novice of walking the better path. My whole life, my emotions have ruled so most of my waking hours. I thank you for making this video. It has started the me on the path I should have taken long, long ago.

With all the garbage that we can watch on different social media platforms, watching a video like this gives me hope that content that imparts wisdom and knowledge is still available to see if you look for it. The great samurai had a lot of wisdom to leave as his legacy. Even centuries after his death what he said is every bit applicable to our lives today as it did during Musashi's lifetime. Thanks for making this video!

I had an epiphany. While meditating on this soaking in a hot bath my house cat came in jumped up and purposely knocked my glasses down with his front paw. I said "hey, come on." Just as the narrator said "Do not regret what you have done." The cat then blankly stared at me and walked off nonchalantly. I've learned something today.

It’s reported that Miyamoto was over 1.80m tall while the average Japanese man at the time was under 1.60 tall. His reach gave him overwhelming superiority in 1v1 duels

This is so true ! We are in a world where we can achieve so many things but we are so distracted all time. We are choppy and changing careers like the way we go to the eat. We aren’t committing or even understanding that it’s a process and it’s all about skills that we gain.

I've been in search of this channel. Something that brings us wise words as they are, not confounded by modern opinion or interpretation. Just great narration and relaxing music selection. Keep it up! I want more :D
