My faves (and the one i owned for sure) are NLT illustrated study bible, NIV quest study bible, ESV study bible, NIV life application study bible, and NLT helpfinder bible~ those are my faves and glad to see some of them are urs as well

Greetings from Australia. The Eerdmans Handbook to the Bible was sold as The Lion Handbook to the Bible...I bought my copy back in the late 1980s.

Eerdmans handbook, the one I be back in the 1970s was smaller long and narrow, thick, would fit in a purse with my Bible.
Ungers has been around for awhile as well as Crudens , Strong's concordances and Vine Dictionary, Nelsen's dictionary.
I like old school too!
I have Thomas chain-reference Bible, my Bible collection 😂 keeps growing, my husband wonders why so many, well I've switched from one type of Bible to another😅 .

I have half a dozen Bible dictionaries and the new Unger’s is still has the best definitions.

I stick to my old bible from school, edition 1912. It would be good if I did know ancient Greek, for then I could understand the New Testament original and the Septuaginta used by the apostles too. But I'm to old now.

Eerdmans handbook to the bible is also know as the Lion handbook to the bible, and under that name it is still in print and updated in 2017.

You should join the Catholic Church, before the reformation in the 16th century nearly all Christians were Catholic or Orthodox. The earliest Christians also were Catholic, they compiled the Bible.
