Shouldn't the 20 become a negative when you put it on the other side, thus it should've been negative 12.

this is perplexing tho! if you're transposing a constant term to the other side it shoud change its sign.

People, the problem is wrong, you should have put minus four (-4).
You had minus -3

u cant cross multiply like that, try supping in x=-4 and u realise that your answer is flawed
