Could be you have to summon a monster that shares some stats with a monster you control, could be it locks you into a single type.

I wish eff will be : if u activate that card set 1 ultimate offering from your deck to field. Each time u normal summon a monster place a counter on it( Max3) if u use ultimate offering u can just remove 1 counter from this card.

First; handtrap effect with half LP to activate from hand in order to make it viable in ANY deck that wants to use it.

Second; Basically a free second normal summon on a hard once per turn, but additional normal summons cost 500 LP until the end phase of the turn to keep it in line with how OG Ultimate Offering worked.

This SHOULD keep it balanced unless it's basically the Red Reboot issue where they try to ban/limit it to keep more fair but unlike Red Reboot, they only just realize no one is playing it because it's limited and figure it is more balanced at 2.

Just remember that card has to be worth 2 or 3 to even consider playing either in main or side deck otherwise just pick a better alternative.

Ultimate Offering wasn't just good in gadgets but any deck that wanted to swarm. It's generic ability to swarm stuff with only the price being LPs is what made it good.

Predict: it'll cost double LP (1000 instead of 500) and have the usual "You can only gain this effect once per turn" restriction. Yeah that's a downgrade rather than an upgrade but, after all, the og Ultimate Offering is banned contrary to Magician of Faith.

Most notable Normal Summons I can think of to go ham with extra summons are Stratos and Blue Boy, but there's tons of other things that could be useful with those, including Tribute summons.

What made the original obnoxious was that it had a "During your main phase or opponent's Battle Phase" activation conditions, meaning it could be used to spam blockers and stuff. That's STILL probably too slow for nowadays, as any deck with enough advantage would go after your backrow cards before even stepping into the Battle Phase.
